I am still swooning over this wedding at Green Mountain Farm. This farm is truly one of the prettiest properties with gorgeous views, a cave, waterfall and pond, a lovely cabin and an old farmhouse (they rent via Air B&B if you want to see it for yourself!!). When I connected with Lindsay and Dominic and heard all about her family’s *beautiful* farm that they were using for the wedding, I was ecstatic that they chose me to be their wedding photographer. Every detail was perfect – I just could not have had more greatness to capture.

It is truly a pleasure to share some of our favorite photos from one of the sweetest weddings earlier this year. The couple's fun, laid back approach made sure that their day was a great time for all of their guests. The first time I met Allyson and Tyler, it was a bitter cold winter day in the mountains of Kingsport, Tennessee. Their warm friendly nature and amazing sense of humor made them feel like old friends and I was so happy they chose me to be their photographer. The two had been long distance most of their relationship and shared plans of moving from their east coast homes to a new life out west just after the big day. They added moving cross country to their wedding to-do list and took it all in stride, knowing they could finally not have such distance in between them.
We started the day at the welcoming and beautiful Pinecrest B&B, with the wedding party hosted getting ready. Allyson's parents have the most lovely B&B with gorgeous gardens and classic design elements everywhere you turn inside and out. Their first look was just the sweetest. The couple chose to see each other before the wedding, letting us capture wedding party and family portraits before the ceremony. Allyson's family has been a big part of UCC, and with it being such a gorgeous space, it was such an honor to capture her and Tyler marrying there. After the ceremony, the wedding party walked through Pack Square with a little diversion to a graffiti covered alleyway and then off to the reception. The Century Room at Pack's Tavern never disappoints with amazing food, great service and a fun venue to celebrate the newlyweds. Sound Extreme kept the dance floor moving and everyone had a wonderful evening!
Wishing the newlyweds the best of everything! Loved being their photographer and am ecstatic to share some of our favorite photos from their day.

I was honored to photograph Dona and Kevin's mountain destination wedding. For the wedding weekend the couple, with some of their family and friends, stayed at their awesome venue, the Hawkesdene House. This beautiful venue is close to the Nantahala in the mountains of Western North Carolina. This was the perfect place for this adventure loving couple that enjoys whitewater rafting, kayaking, and being in the mountains.

With great joy, I am happy to share some of our favorite pictures from Simone and Burke’s big day! Simone is such a sweet soul – I met her while volunteering for a non-profit she used to work with and I was thrilled to be able to give back to her by capturing her wedding. The couple chose to exchange vows at the Ulrey's family home at Twin Oaks Nursery in Mars Hill.

There is something almost magical about fall weddings in the mountains. This wedding was early in fall when the colors are just starting to show. Brahma Ridge is a really special location tucked in a gorgeous mountain cove just west of Asheville, NC. The owners, Rob and Holly are just wonderful people that have created a wonderful escape with this property offering cabins on site, a permanent tent for events, a gazebo, a pond and several lovely ceremony location options. I truly adore them and the special place they have created!!
