Mount Mitchell Adventure off the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville, North Carolina

We are excited to share photos from our recent adventure to Mount Mitchell!  This spectacular view is located off the Blue Ridge Parkway near Burnsville, North Carolina. Located 6,684 feet above sea level, the summit of Mount Mitchell is the highest mountain in the United States east of the Mississippi River. A short hike leads you to the summit overlook, offering a splendid 360 degree view of the surround Appalachian mountain range.  The perspective from such a vantage is breathtaking!  We will be back – and hope that if you haven’t been that this post may inspire you to go see it for yourself.
